Even after 65 years ETF never stops enhancing its machines and developing new machine concepts. Our latest adition is a completely redesigned rolling machine for non- woven material. The current version of this rolling machine was successfully sold for many years to mainly non-woven producers and to producers of carpet and artificial grass as well. These markets showed us that their needs were changing. So ETF decided to redesign the machine concept in order to serve its customers better. The new machine is more flexible and suitable for a broader range of materials.

ETF’s imaginative engineering method resulted in a modular design of the machine. It can be equipped with many optional items in order to suit the specific customer requirements very easily. Another great benefit is the modular design making it possible to easily equip the rolling machine with additional options. Even switching between options without the need of (partly) rebuild the machine will be possible.

Some of the options the new rolling machine can be equipped with are:
• a push roller system or a centre drive system in order to create tight and straight edged rolls (even when the web is slitted),
• easily adjustable main rollers in order to be able to work with a big variety of tube and / or roll diameters,
• an automatic tube dispenser and hotmelt gluing system in order to start rolling fully automatic without operator intervention,
• and an optical length measuring system to measure with an accuracy of more than 0,15%.
