For the 12th time, Europe's most important prize was awarded last night to the best theme parks on the continent. ETF is very proud to announce that in the category Europe's Best Dark Rides, 'Sesame Street: Street Mission' with ETF's trackless Multi Movers ended in 2nd place! We congratulate PortAventura Park and our partner Sally Dark Rides.
On the occasion of the IAAPA Expo Europe trade fair, which takes place this year from 26th to 28th September 2023 in Vienna, the best theme parks, the most breathtaking novelties and the most spectacular attractions and roller coasters were awarded. Beforehand, an international and independent jury of 25 experts had voted on the respective Top 10 in 13 categories.
About European Star Award
The European Star Award was launched by the trade magazine "Park & Park International" in 2012 to honour innovative ideas and promote entrepreneurial courage. The European Star Award is traditionally presented on the eve of IAAPA Expo Europe (www.iaapa.org) and has quickly established itself as the most important award in the European theme park industry. An international jury of experts votes in advance in 13 categories for parks and attractions within Europe.
