Fully-automatic carpet rolling unit M 5724

Fully-automatic rolling unit suitable for carpet production lines. The machine can be run by one operative. The advanced design of the feed section along with the lapping bridge ensuresproblem free winding of all carpet qualities onto the tube. Various functions have been combined in this machine making the system reliable with producing short cycle times. Both small and large rolls can be tightly and evenly rolled on this unit.

Specific features:
- Operating speed up to 200 m/min.
- Carpet can be rolled either pile-in or pile-out.
- Carpet track control by means of pivot guiding frame.
- Bi-directional fast cross-cutter M 2410 (90 m/min).
- Longitudinal cutting with one or more knives M 2422.
- Electronic length measuring unit M 2620 or M 2621.
- Automatically movable side guides.
- Automatic roll ejection.

The rolling unit’s production speed
and operating convenience can be
increased with the addition of the following
specifically designed extras:

- Automatic removal of waste and seams from the rolling process.
  This can take place sideways at the cross-cutter or at the front of the
  rolling unit.
- Automatic tube dispenser for one or more tube lengths.
- Automatic on-line roll wrapping unit can be provided with up to 6 unrolling positions.
- A fully-automatic sealing unit or bung press can be fitted for closing the ends of the roll.
- Automatic longitudinal cutting, rolling and wrapping of 2x2 metre rolls.

The machine can also be fitted with:
- Central drive system for rolling
  artificial grass products.
