The automatic roll processing system can be connected to various types of sorting. A customer-specific solution can be offered depending on the roll specification and available space.

Sorting of cut orders and rugs
Rolls can be sorted into trolleys with a fully continuous sorting system after one or more cut order machines or rug rolling machines. These trolleys correspond with a destination or deliveryroute. The maximum sorting capacity of this system is approx. 240 rolls per hour.

Roll sorting into racks
At the end of a production line or one or more cut order machines, rolls can be sorted directly into racks from a logistic system. Rolls are discharged onto sloping surfaces with an elevator from where they can be easily removed with a forklift truck. The sloping surfaces correspond with a destination or supply routes. Distance between the sloping surfaces is set in consultation with the customer using average roll diameters.

Roll sorting into trolleys
Rolls can be sorted with a moving and liftable system that picks up the rolls from a central position and then brings them towards the trolleys. Advantage of this system is that the rolls can be taken into the trolleys and that the rolls are then tipped out at a low level in order to limit the falling distance. Trolleys are filled to maximum effect because the system can tip on both sides. This system is often used with full and heavy-duty carpet or vinyl rolls.

Connection to the customer's mainframe
Described sorting system can be connected to the customer's mainframe or store computer system. Before the rolls go to the sorting system, the labels are scanned and destination is checked. As soon as the rolls arrive at their destination, a signal is sent back to the customer's mainframe. Thanks to this connection, the customer knows exactly where the rolls are situated so that the trucks can be loaded quickly and problem-free. An additional advantage is that the customer has the possibility of configuring their own sorting position so that our sorting systems are experienced as being extremely flexible and userfriendly.
